Factory Reset Phone w/o Password

If you see the model of the phone on the screen, skip to the next section.

1. Turn on Phone

2. Hit Cancel

3. Hold the keys indicated below

Model Hold Keys Polycom VVX 101, 201, 300, 301, 311, 400, 401, 410, 411, 500, 501, 600, 601 1, 3, 5 Polycom SoundPoint IP 320, 321, 331, 335, 430, Soundstation IP 5000 and Duo 1, 3, 5, 7 Polycom SoundPoint IP 301, 501, 550, 600, 601, 650, VVX 1500 4, 6, 8, * Polycom SoundStation IP 6000 6, 8, *

4. Enter MAC Address of Phone for Admin Password

Use: https://emak.tech/support/polycom-factory-reset-without-password/? for knowing exactly what buttons to press
Default password should now default to 456

If everything was successful, you should see the Model of the Phone on the phone's screen.

Provisioning Phone to 8x8

1. Reboot the Phone then press SETUP when the option appears

2. Enter default password: 456

3. Select Provisioning Server or Server Menu

4. Change Server Type to HTTPS

5. Change Server Address to pccfg.8x8.com/polycomuc/

6. Exit Server Menu

7. Change SNTP to pool.ntp.org

8. Reboot the Phone

If everything was successful, you should see Inactive on the phone's screen.

If the phone doesn't connect to the server:

1. Go to Advanced Settings

2. Go to DHCP Menu

3. Change Custom+opt.66 to STATIC

4. Exit, Save, and Reboot

5. Swap back to Custom+opt.66

6. Exit, Save, and Reboot
